Build mode basics

Reported in a creator walkthrough ("How to Add and Remove Buildings", VendoPlus). Recheck on your device; button labels can change after updates.

1On PC, press 1 to open build mode. On mobile or controller, use the build button shown on your screen.
2Choose Place & Edit to add a building, planter, display, or decor item, then confirm the spot.
3Select an existing building to move or remove it. Cloning a building charges its full price again.
4Read the price on the item card before confirming; in the walkthrough, buildings cost far more than starter planters.

Planning map

Give each confirmed activity a readable zone

These zones are planning labels, not claims about hidden bonuses or required adjacency.

Growing area

Purpose: Support the confirmed planting, growth, and harvesting loop.

Check: Can you identify ready plots and reach their current interaction prompts without visual confusion?

Creation area

Purpose: Support the confirmed bouquet and flower-arrangement activity.

Check: Can you move from a harvested item to the current creation interface without losing track of the required materials?

Customer area

Purpose: Support the confirmed sale of finished floral creations to customers.

Check: Can you see the current request state and reach the interaction without movable objects obscuring it?

Expansion and decor area

Purpose: Leave room for the confirmed shop and garden decoration systems.

Check: Can you add or move one item later without dismantling the route you are currently testing?

Run a one-change layout test

1Choose one repeatable current task, such as moving from a ready flower to the creation interface.
2Capture the starting layout and write down the exact start and end states.
3Repeat the task consistently and note blocked prompts, missed turns, visual confusion, or extra menu handling.
4Move only one object or zone. Keep progression, device, and paid ownership unchanged during the comparison.
5Repeat the same task and keep the change only if the observation supports the intended improvement.

Capture evidence before moving objects

Take a wide screenshot and closer views of relevant prompts. Record the date, game version information visible to you, device, account progression, and any paid benefits. A visual record prevents a later rebuild from relying on memory.

Keep appearance and efficiency separate

A decorative layout can be successful because it is readable or enjoyable even when it does not improve a measured task. Label the goal before testing so a visual preference is not presented as a profit result.

Avoid changing every zone

One change at a time makes the result easier to attribute and reverse.
